Despite the rulings of two lower courts, the Washington Supreme Court decided that the current ban on gay marriage was perfectly constitutional.

Well, I have one thing to say.

FUCK YOU WASHINGTON.

The legislature can still repeal the law and allow gay marriage, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hopefully, New Jersey will use their brains a little more.

True. Maryland has a similar law and we're not even all that conservative, though it is currently being debated in the state gov yet again. NJ is pretty liberal, though, so they may have an actual chance at gay marriage.
