Sage, again.
Oct. 7th, 2005 11:34 pmIt looks like Sage might be sick. :( I'm hoping she's just feeling a little under the weather/stressed from giving birth and not anything serious.
One of the kittens didn't make it, apparently, but two are still alive. Apparently they are VERY young, eyes still closed. We don't know if the rescue will take Sage, even though she's fairly tame (she did hiss at the neighbor the other day, but that was because the neighbor accidently stumbled upon where she was keeping her kittens, otherwise she is super-friendly).
If not, I'm going to start contacting rescues that will take her. Anyone want a cat?? (No, seriously -- I'd arrange a transport or pay to have her go anywhere.) I want her, but Mario is allergic to cats and my parents can't take her in because our current cats would probably attack her. :(
In the meantime, my mom is leaving out LOTS of food so she can gain some weight herself and be able to nourish her kittens.
